I'm searching for information on the John Walker Montgomery family of Precinct H. They appeared in the 1880 census with John as a farmer and his wife, Mary Lucinda, as the only other person in the household at that time. By the Nebraska 1885 census, Lucinda was listed as widowed and living with her son, Irvine. John was the census taker in 1880.
What I am actually seeking is death information on John. So, you can see that the dates I am looking for are between 1880 and 1885. I can't find where to look for this info and I did see that the state archives are closed until next year (I think).
