I am researching the Prudden genealogy and would like some information about Edward Hulburd Prudden (my great grandfather) and Adeline (Morton) Prudden (his wife) who are believed to have lived in Beaver Crossing Nebraska sometime between 1884 and 1902 when they immigrated to Canada.Edward owned and operated a hardware/grocery store in Beaver Crossing. It is believed that their son Earle Hulburd Prudden was born in Beaver Crossing.Would your society be able to provide any information regarding this family, where they lived, any land holdings, birth certificate of Earle, or where we would look for any of this information. We also have a painted picture done by Harriet Prudden (Edward's sister) that says on the back that it was Edward and Addie's first home in Hardscrabble, Nebraska.I am unable to find any information about Hardscrabble.Any information regard this would also be appreciated - such as its location from Beaver Crossing or if it used to be a village etc.Any assistance is appreciated
