I have an ancestor by the name of William Lindquist. I do not know when he came to live in Staplehurst, but I am pretty sure he died there. As far as I know he never married or had children. He always lived as a lodger or boarder according to the cesus records.  I have been searching for a death date for him. Nothing in probate (to my knowledge).  He was an orphan who came to live with my family who lived in Red Cloud, NE about 1880. William is my brick wall, so to speak.
